Extended Story
Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was about 10 years old, when my parents got their first DSLR. Little did they know I would be the primary user of the camera and nearly take over it completely. I'm not sure I ever thought that I would do it professionally, it was just the thing I used to occupy my free time. Growing up I had many different aspirations of what I thought I would do one day, and when it came to me graduating high school and heading off to college I was severely confused. Started at a University for all the wrong reasons, ended up at a community college still pursuing majors that weren't for me but fit the mold of what I thought I "should be" doing. Throughout that process I was still photographing things, lots of shoots for my family and soon word started getting out to friends and they began asking for sessions with me. It became a good little side gig for me, and still I wasn't thinking it could become anything more. Towards the end of that degree I needed to fill a few elective credits and decided to take some photography courses, I fell in love all over again with this "hobby" of mine. It was around that time that my parents pretty much straight up asked me what I was doing with my life, and why I wasn't pursuing photography as my career path. Until then I never believed that I would be one of those lucky people who gets to do what they love as their full time job, I suppose I always saw it as a golden ticket type scenario and I never found one. That's when this journey truly began, it was a long road of hard work establishing a clientele and doing it authentically. Many waves of inconsistent times, finally brought me right where I have prayed my business would be, fully based off of word of mouth and return "customers" that feel way more like family. I love getting to capture moments of your life, and celebrate growth with you.
